your next car?

‘Bullfrog Power and Chevrolet Canada have just launched the Chevrolet Volt Bullfrog Power Edition—the first electric vehicle (EV) in Canada to come with emissions-free, renewable electricity. For each Edition sold, Bullfrog Power will inject onto the electricity grid as much clean, renewable electricity as the vehicle is estimated to use over two years.
The Volt is unique in that it has two sources of energy: an electric battery that can be charged at home that allows the vehicle to travel gas-free for 40 to 80 kilometres, and an onboard gas-powered generator that produces electricity for the battery so the car can travel additional kilometres until the car can be plugged in and recharged or refueled.
When the vehicle is charged with green electricity—rather than conventional electricity—the upstream emissions associated with fossil fuel-based electricity generation are eliminated. With Chevrolet Canada, we are making this EV even greener!
It’s important that people consider where the electricity for their EVs comes from, and maximize the environmental benefits of EVs with renewable energy. Through this partnership, we hope to not only enable more Canadians to have a greener transportation choice—but also to create awareness about the important link between EVs and renewable power.
The Chevrolet Volt Bullfrog Power Edition is available to all Canadians. For more information about purchasing a Chevrolet Volt Bullfrog Power Edition or to choose green electricity for your existing Volt—and help revolutionize transportation in Canada—contact your local Chevrolet dealer or visit www.chevrolet.ca.
